THANKFULLY, WE HAVE OLKILUOTO
Last year, 23.26 terawatt-hours of electricity were produced in Olkiluoto. This accounts for approximately 28 percent of Finland’s electricity consumption for the year.
All three of our plant units contributed to this production with the following output:
Olkiluoto 1 – 6.96 TWh
Olkiluoto 2 – 6.62 TWh
Olkiluoto 3 – 9.69 TWh

Electricity for the whole Finland
The safe operation of the Olkiluoto nuclear power plant is based on skilled personnel and high-level plant technology. We produce almost third of Finland’s electricity in a year.

It is equal to the annual consumption of 1,3 million houses. |

It could also charge up to 4.6 million electric cars to travel around the world (total 40,075 kilometres per round). |
