The Group’s electricity production is complemented by comprehensive support functions and by Posiva’s unique expertise in the final disposal of spent nuclear fuel. Safety cuts across all operations and guides both everyday decisions and long‑term development.
TVO Group’s organisation consists of nuclear electricity production, supporting service functions, and Posiva, which is responsible for the final disposal of spent nuclear fuel. The Group’s operations are based on close cooperation between these functions to ensure that nuclear power is produced safely, efficiently and predictably.
Support functions - including HR, communications, financial and treasury services, IT, procurement, logistics and assistant services - ensure smooth daily operations across all parts of the Group.
Technical Services provide expertise and engineering support that ensure plant unit availability and enable long‑term development.
Safety is the foundation of all operations. The Safety function is responsible for nuclear facility safety programmes, oversight and the continuous development of safety to ensure that all activities meet the highest standards in every situation.
