INTERNATIONAL
PRESS VISIT DAY

International Press Visit Day is organized a couple of times per year and includes up-to-date information sessions with the companies Teollisuuden Voima Oyj and Posiva Oy. There is also a site tour to the Olkiluoto 3 EPR site, to the repository for low- and intermediate-level operating waste, as well as the construction site of ONKALO – the site of the final repository for spent nuclear fuel (site work permitting) and Encapsulation plant.

The visit starts at 10 a.m. and ends approximately at 5 p.m.

The dates are:

• Tuesday, February 24, 2026 (last time to see ONKALO for a while)
• Tuesday, May 12, 2026
• Tuesday, November 24, 2026

Each visit day has only a limited number of spots available.

All visitors must carry a passport or official identification card.

We reserve the right to make changes to the visit program. The possibility of visits ONKALO depends on the work being carried out at the site at the time.
