In Finland, nuclear power enjoys strong support. According to the energy attitude survey published by the Finnish Energy industry in December, as many as 81% of people want to increase the use of nuclear power or keep it at its current level — a share that has grown since last year.
Last year, Olkiluoto produced roughly 28 percent of all electricity generated in Finland.

Electricity for the whole Finland
The safe operation of the Olkiluoto nuclear power plant is based on skilled personnel and high-level plant technology. We produce almost third of Finland’s electricity in a year.
