OL3 Producing Electricity at Reduced Output

Due to a technical fault in two main primary coolant pumps at the Olkiluoto 3 (OL3) nuclear island, the unit will continue operating at a steady output level of approximately 1,300 MW (around 84% of full capacity) for the coming weeks.
The fault was detected during the summer, after which the unit's output was reduced while investigations were carried out. Based on a decision made today, the impact of the corrective measures will be monitored at the lower output level until the unit's annual outage, scheduled to begin on 10 September 2026. The issue has no impact on nuclear safety.
The OL1 and OL2 plant units are operating normally.
