Philippe Bordarier Appointed as New CEO of Teollisuuden Voima Oyj
The Board of Directors of Teollisuuden Voima Oyj, which operates three nuclear power plant units at the Olkiluoto nuclear power plant, has appointed a Doctor of Physicist (PhD) Philippe Bordarier as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. He will assume the role on 1 December 2025.

Philippe Bordarier brings extensive and international experience in the nuclear sector from France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Finland, Poland, and the Netherlands. With approximately 25 years of nuclear industry experience and a strong track record in successfully developing production operations and organizational culture, he is well-positioned to lead the company forward. Bordarier joins TVO from the Dutch energy company Neo, where he currently serves as a lead expert.

Philippe Bordarier expresses his enthusiasm for the new role:

The current CEO, Jarmo Tanhua, who has served as CEO since 2008 and has been with the company since 1990, will continue in his role until the end of November.
