Functioning of a large-scale organisation interests a business administration student
Atte Peltola, 23, started his summer job in TVO's Business Development Unit at the start of May. For Peltola, the four-month summer traineeship is his first job at TVO.
For the past three years he has studied for the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Communication Technology at the Satakunta University of Applied Sciences in Pori. He still has six months to go to complete his degree.
Olkiluoto as such is a familiar place to Peltola, as he is originally from Eurajoki. He remembers an excursion to the Olkiluoto Visitors' Centre as a schoolboy.
So far, the tasks in Olkiluoto have proved interesting.
– I learn a lot of new things every day. However, I hope that by the time my summer job ends in early September, I have learned to put into practice all the theoretical knowledge we have gone through in my studies, Peltola said.
