New appointments to TVO’s Management
New appointments have been made to the management of Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) as of 1 October 2022.
The leadership of TVO’s Engineering Organisation is being reinforced to answer to future needs as well as the needs of all three plant units.
Mikko Lampinen M.Sc. (Eng.), Head of the Plant Modifications Unit at the TVO Group, has been appointed as Senior Vice President for Engineering and a member of the TVO Management Group. Tomi Suokanto M.Sc. (Eng.), OL3 Engineering Manager of the TVO Group, has been appointed as Deputy Director for Engineering, thus taking charge of technical support in the continual lifecycle management of the structures and systems of the nuclear plants.
In this context, Sami Jakonen M.Sc. (Eng.), Senior Vice President for Engineering, has been appointed as Corporate Advisor, responsible for separate technical projects of the company, such as the OL3 plant unit’s system protection, the extension of the use of series-produced equipment, and matters related to the development of SMRs (Small Modular Reactors).
