TVO receives EUR 150 million shareholder loan commitment

​ A shareholder loan commitment and related new shareholder loan agreements, totaling EUR 150 million, have been signed today in the Extraordinary General Meeting of Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO).

​All the TVO shareholders undersigned the agreement and commitment related to the shareholder loan arrangement in accordance with the proposal made by the TVO Board of Directors on 1 November 2017.

By means of the new shareholder loan commitment, TVO prepares to maintain a sufficient equity ratio to complete the Olkiluoto 3 EPR project.

AREVA-Siemens consortium is constructing the OL3 EPR nuclear power plant unit under a fixed-price turnkey contract. According to the plant supplier, the start of regular electricity generation of the unit will take place in May 2019.
