Mr. Pertti Simola to succeed Mr. Mauno Paavola

Mauno Paavola, President and CEO of Teollisuuden Voima Oy since 1994, will retire at the end of the year 2004. The new President and CEO of Teollisuuden Voima Oy is Pertti Simola M.Sc. (Eng.).

Pertti Simola started in Teollisuuden Voima Oy on May 1, 2004 and as the President & CEO on September 1, 2004.

Pertti Simola has acted in several consulting and management functions in the energy field since 1973, lately, as of 1997, as the Vice President, Energy in UPM-Kymmene Corporation. During the years 1994 ¿ 2004 he has been a member of the Board of Directors in Teollisuuden Voima Oy.

Mauno Paavola will continue as member of the Olkiluoto 3 Project Construction Committee.
