Welcome to Olkiluoto Visitor Centre, where you can learn about the fascinating world of nuclear power! At Olkiluoto Visitor Centre, you can learn about a nuclear power plant’s operating principle and the nuclear fuel’s journey from bedrock to bedrock.

The Visitor Centre is located at a site of natural beauty, within viewing distance of the Olkiluoto plant units.
The science exhibition contains a wealth of information regarding nuclear power. You can easily find answers to your questions by pressing the different buttons, pedalling the bicycle and reading the various information packages. You can view the exhibits in your own desired order or use the guide leaflet.
There is also an observation trail in the immediate vicinity of the Visitor Centre that allows you to learn more about the surrounding nature at Olkiluoto.
Olkiluoto Visitor Centre is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region, attracting some 15,000–18,000 visitors each year.
It is possible to visit the Olkiluoto Visitor Center by boat. The dock has a marked channel depth of 1.20 meters, which is not found on nautical charts. The dock has 8 boat berths where you can stay freely for 4 hours at a time. The length of the boom is 6 meters, and the widths of the berths vary between 2.5 and 3 meters.
Olkiluoto Visitor Centre is open daily between 10 am and 8 pm. Our basic visits are free of charge. Please be prepared to verify your identity when arriving at Olkiluoto. Photography is allowed exclusively at the Visitor Centre.
Please be prepared to prove your identity upon request. Security checks on individuals may also be conducted if necessary in the restricted movement and residence area of Olkiluoto. Section 7 s § (11.12.2020/964)
