Hot shutdown at Olkiluoto 2 on Saturday, 10 November

​Electricity production will be shut down at the Olkiluoto 2 plant unit on Saturday, 10 November 2018, due to repair activities to be carried out in the turbine island.

​Power reduction will start at 02:00 o’clock, and disconnection from the national grid will take place at about 05:00. The start-up procedure will start when the repair activities have been completed, and the plant unit is to be reconnected to the national grid on Saturday afternoon. The plant unit is expected to reach the full power level on Monday morning, 12 November.
