Excellent credit rating for TVO
The international credit rating agency FitchRatings has today assigned Teollisuuden Voima Oy ("TVO") senior unsecured debt and Issuer Default ratings of 'A-' (A minus) and a Short-term rating of 'F2'.
On the international rating scale TVO's A- rating ranks on a high level and reflects the company's excellent operational track record of producing electricity to its shareholders reliably and at a competitive price.
According to FitchRatings, TVO's shareholder and company structure also support the rating. The credit rating assigned by FitchRatings creates even better opportunities for TVO to diversify it's funding sources.
