International cooperation

TVO has been actively engaged in cooperation and exchange of experiences with other nuclear power companies, being involved in the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) and in the Finnish-Swedish ERFATOM exchange of user experiences. TVO has also participated actively in the European Utility Requirements project of EU nuclear power companies, in which the requirements for new nuclear power plants are being drafted.

TVO is a member of the Nordic Owners Group (NOG), an organization of Nordic nuclear power companies, and in the Nordic cooperation projects on nuclear safety research (NKS) and probabilistic safety assessment (NPSAG).
