TVO visits are part of the company´s open communication policy. The Olkiluoto Visitor Centre and its "Electricity from Uranium" scientific exhibition are open to visitors daily, and visitor groups who book in advance receive a guided tour of TVO operations and nuclear power. A guided tour can include a visit to the final repository for operation waste, or the VLJ repository. 

Groups

We organize guided tours for groups which book in advance. The minimum group size is 10 persons.

A guided tour includes coffee, a presentation of the company, the Electricity from Uranium exhibition and a visit to the final repository for operation waste, the VLJ repository.

To book a group tour, you must submit the personal data of the people in the group (name, personal identity number, home municipality, place of birth and name of employer) no later than two weeks before the visit.

All visitors must carry a driving licence, passport or other official identification document.

The tours are free of charge.

Further information

You are welcome to submit any special requests you may have for a guided tour. We aim to organize tours so that every visitor can learn about those things in which they are the most interested. A guided tour usually lasts about three hours. It is worth reserving enough time so that everyone has a chance to see everything without rushing.

The tours are provided in Finnish, Swedish and English as a rule, but other languages will be provided for if possible.

Photography at Olkiluoto is not allowed anywhere except at the Visitor Centre.
You must produce identification on demand.
