Olkiluoto Visitor Centre

The Olkiluoto Visitor Centre first opened its doors in February 2006. An average of 15,000 people visit the exhibition each year. Visitors of all ages enjoy the Visitor Centre, which has also become a popular field trip destination for schools.

The Olkiluoto Visitor Centre welcomes visitors daily

  • May - September
    from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. 
  • October - April
    Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. 
    Saturday - Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Please be prepared to provide ID as you arrive at Olkiluoto. Photography is only allowed in the Visitor Centre.

Group visits to Olkiluoto

Book a guided tour of Olkiluoto for your group. The guided tour includes coffee, introduction to the company, a tour of the Electricity from Uranium exhibition , a visit to the repository for low and intermediate level operating waste and a tour to the ONKALO Research Gallery located in the research section of the repository for low and intermediate level operating waste. The guided tour takes approximately 3.5 hours in total. Language options are Finnish and English.

The minimum size for a group is 10 visitors. Name, nationality, passport number, home country, date and place of birth, and employer's name of the visitors should be provided two weeks in advance. All visitors must carry passport or other form of official identification.
