NuScale seeking historic SMR approval

NuScale Power Company made history at the year end by being the first in the world to submit a design certification application for small modular reactor commercial power plants in the United States.

The company is seeking SMR (Small Modular Reactor) approval from the NRC (United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission). (World Nuclear News)
