Industrial action in Olkiluoto – electricity production continues normally

Employee representatives in Olkiluoto estimate that the industrial action of all employee groups under way in Olkiluoto will go on until Monday morning, 5 September.

The industrial action is related to the transfer of business regarding TVO's storage and transport services, say the representatives of the employee groups.

The transfer of business concerned nine employees, who all started this morning in the employment of the new employer, Logistikas Oy. According to the estimates of the representatives of the employee groups, a significant part of the personnel takes part in the industrial action, excluding the personnel of the operational shifts. TVO considers the action to be unlawful.

Electricity production continues in Olkiluoto and the personnel needed for the safe operation of the plant units are at work as usual.
